News Sources

US Envoy Can't Trust Pyongyang's Word - The top U.S. negotiator in talks to rid North Korea of nuclear weapons said Tuesday that Pyongyang must agree to a verification of its disarmament activities and the deal must be put in writing. "Whether that takes one document, two documents, three documents, we don't know. The important point is to make it clear, so there are no misunderstandings," said Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill.
Iran Has Enough Nuclear Fuel for Weapon - Iran has now produced roughly enough uranium to make a nuclear bomb, according to atomic experts analyzing the latest report from the UN nuclear watchdog agency. The IAEA also said that a Syrian site bombed by Israel in 2007 had the characteristics of a nuclear reactor.
North Korea Building New Missile Launch Site - North Korea is building a new missile launch site capable of firing an even longer-range missile than the country has tested in the past, South Korea's defense minister said Tuesday. In 2006, the North launched a long-range Taepodong-2 missile from its east coast site. The missile, considered the country's most advanced rocket, has a range of more than 9,300 miles — far enough to strike the western U.S
Iranian Nuke Scientist: Weekend Quake was a Nuclear Test - A weekend 5.0 Richter earthquake in Iran was actually a nuclear bomb test, says an Iranian nuclear scientist claiming to be working on the project. If the report is correct, it would belie previous speculation that Iran would not begin nuclear testing until it had more nuclear-bomb production capability.
North Korea Threatens to Turn South Korea Into 'Debris' - North Korea's military warned Tuesday it would attack South Korea and turn it into "debris" in response to a South Korean general's recent threats to launch a pre-emptive strike against its nuclear sites.
